This passive loudspeaker integrates effortlessly with Microflex Ecosystem components, providing intelligible sound throughout meeting rooms without complex installation. When paired with compatible microphones and DSP processors, the system offers room-filling coverage, encrypted audio transmission, and unified performance from a single integrated solution. Room Filling Audio:

• Dual-driver architecture delivers full-fidelity, premium audio reproduction and optimum speech intelligibility.
• The 4-inch main driver features a large, well-vented motor for increased power handling; the 1-inch tweeter features a neodymium magnet and heatsink fins for high efficiency.
• Identical voicing to MXP-6 Pendant Loudspeaker for consistent tonality in blended installations.

Dial In Great Sound:

• Up to 10 MXP-5 loudspeakers can be used with the MXN-AMP PoE+ multichannel amplifier in 70/100V mode.
• MXN-AMP provides optimised presets and user-configurable EQ for each speaker output

Confident Communication:

• Shure Audio Encryption protects audio content between the MXN-AMP and other Shure Microflex® Ecosystem devices in the room

Quick and Easy Installation:

• Shallow depth is ideal for retrofit applications or ceilings with limited mounting space.
• A similar diameter to the MXA901 ceiling array microphone creates a symmetrical appearance and allows MXP-5 to replace smaller speakers by enlarging the mounting hole in the existing ceiling tile.
• Switch on front faceplate allows for quick adjustment between 70/100v or 8 ohm operation.
• Available A-MXP-5-TB Tile Bridge and A-MXP-5-NCB New Construction Bracket allow for easy installation.  (Note:  Shure recommends the use of an additional safety tether for overhead components).
